In conjunction with the Yolla Bolly Press release of a limited edition (275 copies) of THE NATURE OF NATURE and THE TREE by John Fowles, 1996, the author spoke on the subject, "The Nature of Nature" at the Library Associates' event. Yolla Bolly Press issued both a keepsake for the Library event, "The Aristos Mikros, " selections from THE ARISTOS, by John Fowles, (our copy signed) and a special printing of "The Nature of Nature" with a woodcut by Aaron Johnson, pages 73-99 of the larger work. In addition to the keepsake and special selection, included in this collection is a San Francisco Chronicle interview by Patricia Holt of John Fowles conducted during his visit to Stanford (published 30 April 1996 in "Datebook") and the "John Fowles Issue" of TWENTIETH CENTURY LITERATURE, Spring, 1996, edited by James R. Baker and Dianne Vipond. Included is the Channel 51 videotape of the program, 60 minutes.
